Yoga & Meditation Retreats
Shannon and Gabi, our retreat leaders.
Retreats are a huge passion of mine. I believe we always come back more connected to our Self and our Source. Being on retreat allows you to be in a state that reveals clarity, release, acceptance, and love. I used to go on retreats to “find myself” and what I found is going on retreat reminds me each year I am okay, exactly as I am.
There is a Sanskrit Word, Purnatva. Purnatva means whole, full. My favorite definition is - having what you need and needing what you have. What a gift!
We run our retreats around getting deep into the culture and experience of wherever we are visiting. I always try to pick places where we will do things that may not be typical in our daily lives (zip lining, volcano boarding, writing on temples with cow dung , cenote swimming, surfing, etc.).
We learn in yoga, when we are in the present moment all comes to life. I have deeply experienced this in ways unsurpassable when traveling. Dominica is one of these places. To call it magical is an understatement. It is glorious, it is connected, it is nature, it is indescribable beauty. It is breath, expansion, and unconditional love.
